Mississippi Halfstep Uptown Toodeloo
Oct. 14, 1976
Shrine Auditorium

The last halfstep of '76. After Rio Grandeo everyone including the crowd gets into it. The source is a B+ AUD.

Brown Eyed Women

This one is fiery, especially the solo, in the vein of 8/24/80, including a hint of a Delilah Jones growl.

The Music Never Stopped
June 9, 1977
Winterland Arena

The mid-jam is short, but the segue is a PERFECT release into the outro. The outro is shredded, but there are others that I prefer. While I do think that this is a legitimate top 20, I'm a little surprised to see it this high.
Althea
May 16, 1980
Nassau Coliseum

I heard the senator on sirius last week and they played the track right after he talked to Bobby about the last solo. It's really good, as others have mentioned, probably worth an Althea vote.

Bertha
Dec. 29, 1977
Winterland Arena

Probably like everybody else, I've heard a million Berthas, so I listened because the reviews were so complimentary. The solo is hammered, an anomaly worthy of a high spot on the list.
Estimated Prophet
May 26, 1977
Baltimore Civic Center

I think this one comes closer to note perfect than all of the other '77 versions. I know there are those who like the song in different eras. For what this song was at this point in its history, this one has it.
