Looks Like Rain

St. Paul Civic Center Arena

A perfect rendition and maybe best of May 77. Bob and Donna really harmonize well at end. This St. Paul show deserves more hype.

This hot version from St. Paul is from a very under-rated show that is better than Mosque show IMHO.

Cryptical Envelopment

Auditorium Theatre

The vital cryptical reprise that climaxes like all the best crypticals do. Is it 2/13/70 or 5/2/70??? No, but its damn good.

Hard to Handle

Yale Bowl, Yale University

Played a week before the 8/6/71 version, but super hot also. Both versions are a part of Road Trips Vol1-3.

Only about 8 mins, but some nice runs by Jerry in the middle. Worth checking out. Dave's picks#2.

Agree. However, I think Spring tour was better than Summer tour due Jerry getting worse as the year went on. The Memphis run is my fav for 1995. I came back from that run and a great JGB run in Jan. at the Warfield and thought the boys still had gas in the tank, Jerry too and then the dreadful summer tour....The Salt Lake City from this night is a treat too. I know no one likes anything from 93-95, but this was well played. I still direct people to the 3/27/94 Dew and 10/14/94 SF as some epic shit that can hang with any era!

FYI...this one smokes the Mosque!

Who cares...this song is awful! This song in a set could almost ruin the set all by itself. I saw the air come out of the show in real time with this tune. It was a momentum buzz kill!
Help On The Way > Slipknot > Franklin's Tower

Decided to throw this whole show in today. The epicness is present the whole show, but this H/S/F is just so fuckin good...its the one I go to every time. It may not have the best of each individual part, but when put all together...its just amazing....btw...phil has great fills during the chill parts of Franklin's that just add to the coolness of this version.

Yeah...this is one version that 2nd best is so far behind this one. This really needs to top Richfield 94...the campaign starts now!
