Garcia's phrasing is as sharp as a tack, really tight and engergetic

On the short side. But really intense, tight playing, not a single note wasted.

Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad
Aug. 6, 1974
Roosevelt Stadium

I revisited this one recently, and I should add that Garcia plays some of the most viciously fluid runs I've ever heard on this song. Should be ranked higher, it's an A+ version for sure.
Ramble On Rose
Sept. 27, 1972
Stanley Theatre

Been a favorite ever since I first heard Dick's Picks, vol. 11
Eyes Of The World
June 26, 1974
Providence Civic Center

Agreed on all points. A unique, almost minimalistic version but so perfect at the same time. Also major points for filling the rare encore slot.
China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
July 21, 1974
Hollywood Bowl

Unique version, but the sound of this AUD is what really blows me away...one of the best this side of 8/6/71.
China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
Nov. 17, 1973
Pauley Pavilion - University of California

Love this one!
