The "middle solo" in this version is just stunningly climactic!

Jerry's solo builds fantasticly to a huge melodic power peak. One of the best Jerry solos I've ever heard on this song BY FAR.

Roars like a freight train; Jerry is just ripping up the fretboard! My favorite of '78 so far...

OMG...I had to completely stop what I was doing while listening to this one. Totally outrageous Jerry noodling nirvana!!!

WOW. If you dig the legendary 1/22/78 St. Steve jam, you must hear this. NOW. This one might be even better. One of my favorite post-hiatus versions!!

Newpot is right. TFTV = 8/24/68 ONLY. The album mislabeled the date as 8/23-24.

Right after the MLB Phil drives them into a brief Other One-ish jam as well.

Next to 10/29/73, this is one of the tightest (and best) versions ever played. Phil owns his solo and the post song minor key sections really sparkle.

The pre verse portion of this DS is amazing with supple, jazzy ensemble playing, that wanders through many different themes. Things start to really cook around 15 mins. With Garcia leading the charge through a fast paced, bebop type passage that sounds like it might break into an MLB jam. The post verse space is very minimalistic, but segues into a hard hitting Eyes of the World. All in all this is one of the best Dark Stars of the year, and this full suite of second set jams maybe some of the best of all time.
