Stupendous Bird Song right here!!! This version has it all, from soaring melodies to jazz to deep space. A definitive version, no doubt, and possibly my favorite post-hiatus.

This version is just phenomenal, almost as good as any version from 1974. The playing is in a very similar context to the pre-hiatus versions, but with a funkier, more aggressive feel. Jerry has some wonderfully melodic soloing during the verses, and Phil totally owns the jam out of the song.
