Playin' In The Band
Sept. 10, 1972
Hollywood Palladium
Wickedly jazzy and powerful; not as wild as 8/27, but it can hardly be faulted for that!

Playin' In The Band
Feb. 22, 1973
Assembly Hall, University of Illinois
Amazingly hot; Jerry and Keith kick things up a notch about halfway thru the jam and it never lets up!

Playin' In The Band
Oct. 25, 1973
Dane County Coliseum
Tight, jazzy and a little freaky too. An underappreciated highlight of a great show.

Dark Star
Aug. 24, 1968
Shrine Auditorium
Two from the Vault. Sharp and energetic. For its time, Garcia and Lesh hit a new level on this one .

Dane County Coliseum
A beautiful MLB jam followed by some of the freakest DS space you'll ever hear. Careful around this one...

Sugaree
Oct. 17, 1983
Olympic Center
I agree this smokes 6/21/80...definitely the VERY BEST '80s rendition I have heard. Jerry is totally unstoppable, each instrumental break hits a higher peak than the last.
Eyes Of The World
Oct. 29, 1977
Evans Field House, Northern Illinois University
Just a wonderful version, one of my favorites of '77
Eyes Of The World
May 15, 1977
St. Louis Arena
Check out the ending...Go Jerry!!!!!
The Other One
Nov. 17, 1972
Century II Convention Hall
This Other One is legend. Just a brutal psychedelic attack from start to finish....one of the very best ever!
The Other One
Dec. 1, 1971
Boston Music Hall
The jam @ about 6 minutes in...WOW!!!! THAT is why I listen to so much of this stuff.
