First First There Is a Mountain theme?? Great stuff non-the-less

Alligator
Dec. 21, 1968
Shrine Exhibition Hall
Wild Eleven-ish jam gives way to some really melodic, fresh takes on the Mountain jam theme. Beware of SQ though...

Extended Other One sans Cryptical repise. Ridiculously powerful!!

Playin' In The Band
Feb. 24, 1974
Winterland Arena
Haha, my last comment was intended for 2/24/73. This is, however, a really awesome PITB, with some stupendously creative jazz jams from Jerry...very unique stuff here!
Playin' In The Band
Nov. 17, 1973
Pauley Pavilion - University of California
This maybe the best, smoothest version of the whole "sandwich", but 3/23/74 definitely has a hotter Playin'.
Playin' In The Band
March 23, 1974
Cow Palace
Just have to add that of the 3 times they did this sandwich, I think this is my favorite. Such a probing, intense Playin', and the transition from UJB back to Playin' reprise is just magical. A-Mazing stuff!!!
Eyes Of The World
Nov. 5, 1977
Community War Memorial Auditorium
Top shelf stuff. My favorite Eyes of '77 for sure.
Truckin'
Nov. 2, 1977
Field House - Seneca College
Love this version!!!! Maybe not as epic as 11/6/77, but rip-roaring energy to spare!! One of my favorites ever.
