Another classic SJ in a classic '68 show...

Spanish Jam
July 29, 1974
Capitol Center

A bit overlooked for summer '74, this version is one of the very best. Jerry's cool tone has a lot of bite!

Classic SJ out of a great wandering Dark Star...Jerry and Phil dueling it out hard!

Spanish Jam
Jan. 17, 1968
Carousel Ballroom

First ever SJ, and possibly my new favorite! This incredible jam just keeps building and does not let up once for the entire 16 minutes!

The Other One

McArthur Court, University of Oregon

A rollercoaster ride!

Dark Star
March 21, 1973
Utica Memorial Auditorium

This night I think gets overlooked also because of poor SQ due to tape damage. If there were better tapes of the 2nd set especially, I think it would be more well regarded.
The Music Never Stopped
Jan. 22, 1978
McArthur Court, U of Oregon

Goddamn what a set closer!!!
St. Stephen
Jan. 22, 1978
McArthur Court, U of Oregon

Probably the best post-hiatus version. That jam is so utterly unique, and the melodies just pour out of Jerry's guitar like water...incredible.
St. Stephen
April 23, 1969
The Ark

Absolutely classic...one of only two St.Steve>It's a Sin>St. Steve!
Eyes Of The World
Feb. 28, 1973
Salt Palace

Dick's Picks 28 has the (nearly) complete show including Eyes. This is one of my favorite shows of '73.
