Great post GRAVEROBBER. I have a friend that got to the point where all he wanted were crispy, crunchy SBDs. We've both been listening, going to shows and tape trading since the early '80s and he simply go to that point in his Dead career. It's understandable. Going forward I would send only recommends that were SBDs or MTXs that I knew he would like. He had become a soundboard snob as they say but it's his listening time. At the beginning of the Pandemic I sent him a loud, booming, Hall effect Aud and said "just try this one", then right back to SBDs for future recs. He loved it. Not his first rodeo, he used to listen to old Maxells with me when we had nothing else. So this show and Aud source put him right back on Auds. Now he can't get enough. He's sending me shows that are Aud only now. I told him it's like the episode in Seinfeld when George stops wearing a toupee." It's like you've had a religious experience, you're a bald/Aud again".
