^^^ exactly. Great post. Everyone needs to find their way. I love Auds. I had a friend named Fran years ago. He was a taper from Baltimore. Met him in '83 at the Greenmont Hotel that hosted Dead Night in the basement on Saturday nights. I was fortunate enough to receive tapes from Franny dating from '68, '70, '77, '81 and also just weeks before from the last run. So I'm partial to Auds. I always read the lineage notes on LMA. One of my favorites is Source: Jeff's guns on Howard Shames body. The "guns" are directional mics (Senn/Nak)
