It's All Over Now Baby Blue
April 23, 1969
The Ark

Did Jerry ever not put his heart and soul into this tune? all the versions from the sixties are mesmerizing this is not only one of the best but it ends an amazing concert from one of the best runs in Dead history.all of the winter-spring 69 stuff is must listen.
Eyes Of The World

Giants Stadium

Agree with go6,while it is silly do call one version the "best" for a song that has so much room for different tempo and moods this example is pretty spectacular.
Stella Blue
Oct. 21, 1978
Winterland Arena

Brutal as the cut at the end is the majestic ,pounding Other One that precedes Stella makes this worth many listens.
Mountains of the Moon
Feb. 22, 1969
Dream Bowl

Never figured out why they retired this great little gem.Tom Banjo and the Marsh Queens daughter deserved better the transition into a marvelous Dark Star this night was sublime one of my favorite shows from maybe my favorite year.
China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
Nov. 11, 1973
Winterland Arena

China-Ryder like Morning Dew and a couple of other classics only came out when the boys were really on.There is no best version but I do enjoy the late 73 thru 74 versions for the jazzier more open transitions.
