This whole show has that extra little magic spark. Brent definitely energized them for the fall 1979 tour

Really enjoy the pre-drums this evening, love when they mix stuff up like this, often gives the songs a different feel when played at different spots. Really a fun evening.

This really let everybody know he was back and could still bring IT ! The final Jam is MAgic. A great testament to Jerry's incredible ability that he could bring this so soon after how sick he was and how far his ability to play had fallen due to his illness. We can all thank Merl for his help, of course Merl is gone now also. But this Sugaree kicks ass and has plenty of the magic especially the final jam.

This is a really cool show with a nice fun inventive set list show opens nicely with a spirited run on playin which quickly melts into a fast energetic Bertha. Playin is not done as a meaty jam on playin emerges after Black Muddy River leading into I need a Miracle which moves nicely into drums/Space. Playin is not done as the reprise emerges after a very spirited run through around and around. This is a fun crazy show. Wont blow your mind with any outer space interstellar jams but it is a very hot creative and heady take from post coma 1986 and very very fun. The boys seem to enjoy as Billy jokes before the encore "hey Weir are we going to do plain in the band again."

Very heady and an amazing inventive fresh set 2. I love when they mix stuff up like this and it works this evening, they sound both tight musically while being relaxed leads to some nice tunes, not a ton of jamming but tight rock n roll and sweet ballads on this evening.
