Rises like a beautiful Phoenix from a fiery slithering the other one. Very finely delivered with some extra attention, absolutely fantastic.

Slithering entrance out of IWTYH really spacey interstellar sound, has the distorted lyrics, sizzling Jerry and Brent is great on this version.

Eyes Of The World
Feb. 21, 1991
Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Stadium

i always fond this to be a very enjoyanle show. It's not a life changer but still a very tight nice fun show with a few switch ups like the eyes out of space that keeps it fun throughout.
Eyes Of The World
Sept. 8, 1990
Coliseum

How cow excellent version from the Vince years, his first and arguably one of his best. 1990 is a great year for Eyes, mostly the Brent ones, but this is hot, thanks for the heads up, very cool version.
Playin' In The Band
Sept. 21, 1974
Palais Des Sports

Very spacey electric sounding playin in the band (this sounds like it was coming from the future) . Ned adds a nice amount of craziness to the proceedings, truly a different sounding playing. i really dig it definitely very heady. this is awesome
Crazy Fingers
June 3, 1976
Paramount Theatre

This is absolutely sublime, beautiful and powerful. Long, slow, and slides oh so beautifully into a killer wharf rat than slides into the first Let it Grow sans prelude and part 1. First show after the hiatus and the crowd is heavily into it. Show has that tight, mellow, and funky 1976 sound throughout the show.
Candyman
June 4, 1976
Paramount Theatre

I have been on a 1976 kick lately and June of 1976 is generally very heady stuff, There is a nice funky swing, clear vocals, and tight jams. This particular version exudes all of these elements, truly a wonderful and fun recording of such a classic Grateful Dead song. Donna is in fine form as well on the backing vocals. Nice key splashes from Keith and the drummers sound good. Love the guitar breaks. gorgeous, unrushed, masterpiece. Lovely and what brings me back to these shows. ALso check out the Mission, might as well, and Samson from this evening for more heady beauty.
