China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
Aug. 19, 1989

Brent love the sound he has going in the beginning of china cat, Jer does blow a few lyrics but starts to get going and this does take off nicely, definitely very enjoyable, this is a very enjoyable show, another heady one from 1989.
Foolish Heart

Greek Theatre, U. Of California

Interesting to hear it in the encore slot. Always a fan of this song, not a very good version. Love the placement though. Muffled lyrics and all fumbled in the beginning. Vocals are ragged Jer's voice is in rough shape here. Jams dont have thaat extra spark. Points for trying it in the encore slot though wish had been with more passion and execution. Brent does do some truly fantastic stuff on the keys at the end of the song. That part id s worth hearing. skip to about 5:00 to about 6:00 really crazy Brent keys.
The Other One
Aug. 19, 1989
Greek Theatre, U. Of California

Holy Cow! What an other one, surely one of the best from the Brent era 1989 is such a joy, I cant get enough of some of these shows, terrific. Was just hipped to this one today, had some how slipped by me before this or I had forgotten about it over the years. This has some crazy interstellar shit going on. Truly a crazy heady version, lots of Healy messing with Bobby's vocals

This contains a rather lengthy exit Jam between Jerry and the drummers before it gives way to drums->space. Meaty stuff by Jerry and the rhythm devils definetly the highlight of this late Keith and Donna era show. The comes a time is also sweet from this show you can skip the rest.
