There are some great versions after this one, but it never quite soars to the heights it does with Donna. Her backing is mesmerizing n Jerry nails it!

It is because of the "beautiful jam" that many vote this number one. i agree this is not the best. the beautiful jam however is otherworldly.

Live Dead version absolutely smokes this is Primal Grateful Dead love Jerry's tone, Phil is thunderous and the drummers are on another plane. This is amazing what i think of when i think of Hot grateful dead. Jerry is just ripping INTENSE!!!!!! THe Charlie Miller version up on archives in fantastic if anyone knows Mr. Miller please thank him for me, his work is excellent and appreciated.
