Sugar Magnolia

Shoreline Amphitheatre

Awesome with Bobby and Brent going back and forth vocally during the SSDD segment while the rest of the band tears the place down.

Aiko Aiko
Oct. 2, 1994

Another well played late era Aiko. Not sure why but Jerry really dug into Aiko over the last 2-3 years, some very hot later era Aiko's.

One More Saturday Night
March 27, 1972
Academy of Music

Keith and Jerry are locked in and possesed the entire show. Bobby and billy are also extremelly on. Phil as always is dependable. Donna is missing from much of the recordings? This is really a cool tight warmup for Europe 72 and they are on fire. Keith is just at the top of his game. Possibly one of his best shows ever.

Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
Feb. 10, 1979
Soldier's And Sailors Memorial Hall

They really take their time teasing round with the beginning of fire until they fully launch into it. really cool long introduction before they really fully hit fire, as with much of early 1979 Jerry still suffering throat issues but it adds a little extra texture to his vocals. Jerry really bends those notes on this very hot fire.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
Jan. 8, 1979
Madison Square Garden

Another one that needs a board, even Charle Miller espouses his liking for this set 2 in his notes on archive, the playing is fantastic the energy beauiful this is terrific anoter great Scarlet fire. This is a very clean Audience recording though (The Miler source is what i am listening to). Jerry's guitar is just crystal beautiful, terrific . Donna is also reallyon but I do like Donna. Jerry still suffering from some of that falls bout with bronchitis but he powers through it.
