It Must Have Been The Roses

Warfield Theatre

Real standout, Brent is great on this version and Jerry has a delicate twinge to his voice.

Aiko Aiko
May 27, 1989
Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Stadium

Fun celebratory Aiko from a real fun crazy 1989 show. Love how in 1989 Aiko could show up pretty much anywhere at anytime. Mid set 1 here

Rager to open set two flows nicely into a hot wicked Fire on the Mountain.

Drums
May 23, 1972
Strand Lyceum

I was referring to the dark star drums. I’m well aware of the fact that 1972 is just Billy. I prefer the band with just one drummer. I admit it was a poor choice of words.
Uncle John's Band
Aug. 26, 1980
Cleveland Public Auditorium

One vocal flub towards the end almost derails the song but Jerry recovers than gives a more vigorous workout to the exit jam of the song to make up for his miscue.

Cleveland Public Auditorium

Great swing. Nice organ work from Brent. Cool as an opener. Sets a nice laid back vibe.
Gimme Some Lovin'
April 7, 1988
The Centrum

Fun. Probably the most phish like thing they do. This one is pretty well done and not as sloppy as some. Mostly just Brent and Phil.
Me and My Uncle

Rose Palace

One of the few versions actually worth seeking out. Fantastic before they often played it on autopilot.
