Hot Jerry has one of those amazing piercing solos where the notes cut like a knife. This is beautiful and well sung some minor mic issues but Jerry +

As passionate as i have heard Jerry singing on this one, does make a vocal miscue but sings right through it instead of just starting to mumble .

Shakedown Street

Crazy Funky loads of Phil and Jerry is just bending and twisting funky notes like he were Dr Funkenstein this is some serious Disco Dead, crazy Funk Monster. Brent adds some excellent keys but Jerry and Phil are really just destroying it in such a delicious way, So much funk it sounds like an earlier version. This is a monster Shakedown and should be heard, leads nicely into a fast funk estimated. They are just bursting at the seams with energy on this evening.

Beautiful and delicate like any good china doll should be, Brents keys and Jerrys guitar and vocals are Fantastic, truly a wonderful version.
Morning Dew

I thought i heard a young man moan this morning i thought i heard a young man moan today... Jerry looked over at Brent as a sign of what appeared support. Jerry also was the first to come racing out from backstage when he heard Brent melting down to throw some support behind him. Bobby and Phil quickly raced out as well. Brent is missing from the GDTRFB before this after his meltdown, but Jerry stirred him to play some nice runs on this Dew. Not the best but powerful in the circumstances and to me it showed Jerry did care for Brent and tried to have his back the best he could. The jam into the final i guess it doesn't matter anyway does build some real nice intensity aided in power and intensity by the preceeding events
