He's Gone
Nov. 9, 1979
Memorial Auditorium

Very hot version, love the gloria sounding jam that leads into drums. very funky, Brent was on in 1979-80 right from the start and it certainly sparked the boys to change up the sound even if slightly at times.
Not Fade Away

Nassau Coliseum

Holy cow this amazingly funky the jam on the tune out of space is onre for the ages, love these late 1979 early 80 versions. Brent added that awesome new keyboard sound to the mix and it totally rejuvinated this old standard.

I didnt just flame in songs, every entry was legitimate, And it wasnt that he said it it was his arrogant nature. And frankly you dont know me if you think i give a rats ass what people that dont know me think. People that know me like me and thats what i care about. I also love the grateful dead and am trying to get as much out there as possible, sorry if it hurt your feelings. also why should every user have the time to digest everything after it is posted, bull shit. Look up the songs you like and investigate the versions listed. Like i said i ve slowed down, but as long as i can post i will be posting. I also admitted it was probably childish. So what i like a song you dont its no reason to be a dick, but then again we are on the internet so its the usual tough guy on a keyboard. Grate day to all and if you want to go to Chicago I hope you get your tixs.

I have tried slowing down that said cgacres it's evident you don't like shoe fits I've already told you I realize I'm in the minority's but I like it. I have a soft spot for Phil. So I get it you don't like it there are songs I don't like but that doesn't mean I haven't heard a version where the boys are killing it. In all honesty I planned on doing it slow but when you attacked me over a shoe fits that I happened to like I went to the binders and listed a ton of shit I had notes on. Maybe a little childish but your attack got under my skin. I apologize but I still did not list a single version I do not enjoy the hell out of.

Barn burner for a debut as good as almost anyother from 1973 ad it is the debut, this came out of the gate a freaking monster. Love the Stronger than dirt endings on these early versions
