Another amazing 1969 Pigpen performance hard to believe he'd be gone in a few short years after this. Heady psychedelic blues

Spectacularly gorgeous, this is wonderful Jerry just sings it like a lullaby and the strumming on the acoustic is beautiful.

Great early version sung with conviction and clarity, backing has that cool psychedelic circus feel to it.

The Spectrum

Excellent tubular bells(exorcist) space, one of my personal favorites and one of Vince's best moments with the band.
Good Morning Little Schoolgirl
March 16, 1968
Carousel Ballroom

Very nice sequence and this is a nice culmination. Good Harmonica work by Pigpen, fine vocals and nice Jerry guitar licks.

Very short but sweet as is the other one
The Eleven

Carousel Ballroom

Over 14 minutes of pure joy, the dead monster at its early best. This gives me chills, I just love the tone of Jerry's guitar during this time frame, WOW. Intense, great tension and release.
