DeadHead21Compare the economy now to 8 years ago, compare the stock market now to 8 years ago, compare unemployment now to 8 years ago, compare gas prices now to 8 years ago. Congrats on the stupidest fucking post on here. and acting like 1989-90 wasn't hot as fuck, even Bobby considers this their prime, ( I agree 67-74 is best but there are gems in every year) makes you look like an angry old ignorant fuck head. keep your ignorant politics on some teabag website where they'd rather believe what they wish to be true than what is. Oh and 9/11 was a far worse terror attack that some lone wacko and his wife killing a few dozen. 3000 is a lot more and that again on Bush's watch. Sick of you fucking lying ignorant right wing assholes making shit up. go listen to faux news where they tell you what you want to hear instead of the truth. Oh yeah and as for the defecit, Obama has decreased discretionary spending, the reason the debt balloned under him was your boy put two costly wars on our credit while decreasing revenue by cutting taxes for the very wealthy. well the bills came due and we had to pay them. Please go educate yourself with some damn facts.

This is delicious. fantastic early take on poor peter. Very direct emphatic delivery of the lyrics, excellent passion on this version.

Wow, shocked you feel that way, the vocals are clean and well sung and the jamming is hot particularly the final jam and cool organ swirls to end the song. I really dig this version and the recording quality is excellent.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
Dec. 27, 1991
Oakland Coliseum Arena

Bruce did not appear this whole run source: deadbase. Are you sure you listened to the correct show? I do find it interesting certainly more mellow than a standard Fire. He plays around with his tone. I do think i may have credited Jerry with some of the interesting things Bobby is doing but I still found this version short though rather enjoyable. Nice crisp recording on Archives. Is listed where i feel it should be a few votes but not near the top. Also if you listen through the entire pre drums Phil throws a little bit of a fire riff into the post Terrapin jam, but they dont bite on a reprise as this version does not end like ones typical Scarlet Fire.So yes interesting is an apt description.
