Kansas City Municipal Auditorium Arena

Jerry shreds the solo and bobby growls out the vocals. nice juxtaposition to the beautiful BP that preceded it.

Black Peter

Brents organ really makes this one sound like Grateful Dead church and the way Jerry is signing really makes him sound like he's mourning someone.

Rainbow Theater

An absolutely beautiful emotional version, truly a masterpiece. Deserves more attention as does the whole show and for that the whole tour is pretty hot.
The Wheel

Brillant among my favorite versions of the wheel. A true beauty.

OP is correct that this is one kick ass tour. Not sure if its the best ever but it is one hell of a tour with loads of highlights. Some truly great performances by everyone every night of the run. This is a kick ass China Rider, Everybody giving it 100% Bobby is really glowing on this one. Hot pairing from a GREAT tour.

Gorgeous double encore, this beauty into a rocking johnny b goode. This is a great tour all around. The last tour before they started introducing a lot of the in the dark material.
All New Minglewood Blues
May 8, 1977
Barton Hall - Cornell University

It was already up as new minglewood blues and already has 18 votes. Its cool though. Several are probably listed under both headings, same with Quinn. I think i did it with something one time too.
