Stella Blue

Shoreline Amphitheatre

A+ late-era ballad. The final jam is terrific. Please give a spin if you like the late era ballads.
Lost Sailor -> Saint of Circumstance
Feb. 14, 1986
Henry J. Kaiser Center

This is a fantastic pairing the mid song jam in saint is especially tasty. A truely heady pairing the next to last time they would play this coupling. Loads of Phil throughout, Bobby is really on top of it, Brent adds excellent backing vocals and just the right amount of keys and Jerry is excellent and attentive here.
Eyes Of The World
Oct. 16, 1974
Winterland Arena

Absolutely one of the craziest most out there sequences in Dead History. This version is much looser and spacier than most. Phil and Ned->Space->Wharf Rat->Space->Eyes of the World. These are full deep space explorations not 45 seconds of fuzziness called space but true out there excursions and the Phil and NEd is intense as they all are.
