Seastones - this is a wild and moody one. Apparently had the crowd freaking out.

Like all from 1974, very unique. Starts in a fast jam and slows the band down in a cool way

They charge into this one just as the Other One is coming to a close. Some sloshy moments in the final SSDD jam but they bring it home for sure.

Yeah night before is an even bigger train wreck. Also, Bob speaks a similar mystery language during a full verse of Jack Straw on 10/18/74 two nights before. I’ve never heard him flub an entire verse before, impressive!

This version gets no love on here but it’s such a sweet and powerful moment in time. I also love the way that Jerry leads the band into this song while everyone is still playing Half Step. Truly a special moment and might even be my favorite version, it’s short and sweet and meaningful

Yeah, love this one. This and 5/19 are my favorite ‘74 versions.

This one sneaks up on you. One of my favorites of the year. In the final build up they achieve that thing you hear them do so well in the jam in something like Cumberland blues, where it’s like five genres at once flying along with glorious intensity.

This one is the most epically beautiful thing. It’s got something special, and if you’re ever burnt out on the overly busy or chaotic ones, this is the one to come back to. There’s a calm power on that stage in NY on 9/19/1970. Perpetually tied for first place for me as a personal favorite. It’s sitting there with 4/8/72, 10/18/74, 5/4/72, and 11/8/69.
