Soundcheck! Excellent sound on source provided & brilliant flowing ripping Garcia leads. Classic '76 "backwards" version.

Ultra hot mid jam (Bobby nearly plunges back too early but Jerry forges ahead) & Brent is all over the ivories. Hot stuff in Philly.

Can't fathom how this A+ 90s version, with a gorgeous, relaxed tempo & delicate Garcia touches throughout hadn't made the list Great show, great EYES

Just a great, grooving, bluesy Althea. Everyone right in the pocket. Find the exceptional Miller SBD & enjoy.

Simply a victim of too many other great versions to choose from, but tune in to this one and you'll feel compelled to get it higher on the ladder. Great '79 stuff start to finish.

Whatever the reason, I would drop this firmly into a category called Greatest Garcia Solos Ever, slap a Top 3 onto it, and not look back. It's beyond belief beautiful.

No, Bobby, they're going to hear ONE MORE TIME how much I wish I was a headlight on a northbound train. -Jerry
Dark Star

Boston Music Hall

I love Dark Stars like this. Straight shot jam with no deviation into "silly space" feedback noise and some fine ideas throughout. There are a couple of off notes but they're barely noticeable in the overall scheme, and thanks to Darkstar67 for providing link to the best course for sure of those offered,
When Push Comes to Shove

Kaiser Convention Center

Did you know that this song could be good? Like, really, REALLY good? Neither did I until I checked out this version. Killer mid tune solo and Jerry nails the vox. Let these little baby tigers punch you in the ear if you don't believe!
