Estimated Prophet
Aug. 30, 1978
Red Rocks Ampitheatre
In combo with the equally stunning "Eyes" to follow this is an unheralded, wah-wah Jerry-heavy, Bobby/Donna vocal gem.

Althea
Nov. 4, 1979
Civic Center
Sily smooth Althea from Providence. Rich Jerry vocals & of course, chunks o'Phil. This deserves a listen & some votes!

Space
June 20, 1980
West High Auditorium
Short but oh so sweet fuzzfest of Brent-centric gooyness seamlessly into a typically funkified 1980 NFA

Eyes Of The World
July 12, 1976
Orpheum Theater
Soundcheck! Excellent sound on source provided & brilliant flowing ripping Garcia leads. Classic '76 "backwards" version.

Zenith
Yes! Crisp, clean winner with great grungy rhythm provided by Bob and a patient, colorful jam section. Not sure why this show has been largely ignored prior to the official release--maybe that'll change now--it sure should.
Valley Road
Oct. 30, 1990
Wembley Arena
Jerry backing Bruce's vocals is worth the price of admission on this one but the whole thing is a raucous joy.One of Bruce's greatest songs done up Dead style. Sweet indeed.
He's Gone
March 21, 1994
Richfield Coliseum
love the acoustic approach--the fuzz guitar accents throughout, Jer's soulful vocals, Phil & Vince's super fun back-ups, & of course the extended jam is the icing on this fine 90s HG cake. The Stella from this show steals the spotlight but don't sleep on this one--this and 12/28/90 are my favorites of the 90s
They Love Each Other
Aug. 8, 1982
Alpine Valley Music Theatre
Jerry really does go the extra mile and then some on the solo--worth it for that long winding river journey alone but the rest of the band keeps pace and it's just a great one overall--easy to forget there were some splendid renditions of this tune in '82 & as Orange Tango points out there's a distinct JGB feel to it as well.
