Big River

Providence Civic Center

Outrageous version. Takes a second to get the mix dialed in, but man they blow the roof off. This has to be one of the best Wall of Sound shows.

Grate version... listen carefully at the beginning you can hear Jerry yell "put your acid in!"

It Must Have Been The Roses
Oct. 12, 1984
Augusta Civic Center

Y'all, Jerry's voice is totally shot. So many better versions, 6/26/74... oh well.
He's Gone

The Spectrum

This version should be WAY higher. Contender for best ever
Deal
Aug. 27, 1972
Old Renaissance Faire Grounds

This is one of my favorite deals. The Stanley 9/27 version might be a bit hotter, and there's some great versions from Europe tour as well. 89 versions are shreddy but, as per usual with late era dead, substitute coherency and tightness for balls out, sloppy energy. I'm glad that both eras of versions exist, but I definitely tend to lean toward the crisp psychedelia of 1972 over all else
El Paso
July 8, 1978
Red Rocks Amphitheatre

This is really far from being the best version of this song they played... 9/21/72, 9/27/72, 10/19/73, 11/11/73, 6/26/74, just to name a couple
Black Muddy River
April 2, 1990
The Omni

Not sure I've heard a more precise version
