Outrageous version. Takes a second to get the mix dialed in, but man they blow the roof off. This has to be one of the best Wall of Sound shows.

Grate version... listen carefully at the beginning you can hear Jerry yell "put your acid in!"

Bird Song
Sept. 27, 1972
Stanley Theatre

I think the 9/21 version is the all time best, but this version is absolutely exquisite. This is one of the best Dead shows of all time
Eyes Of The World
May 18, 1977
Fox Theatre

This literally destroys the Englishtown version (along with at least 5 other versions from this tour alone)
Eyes Of The World
June 18, 1974
Freedom Hall

Agreed, this is a fantastic version. Also appreciate the above comment that mentions 10/29/73, that show (and most others from late 73) remain the most underrated shows in GD history
It's All Over Now Baby Blue
Feb. 24, 1974
Winterland Arena

I love Jerry's passion in the vocals, and his voice still sounds clear, unlike in later renditions. This is my favorite version.
Mexicali Blues

The Spectrum

Amazing version from an all time show. Though I think the version at the Stanley Theater 6 days later is a bit hotter
