The jam during this blows me away every time. Pure psychedelic bliss. An argument could easily be made that this is the definitive version.

Easy Wind

Manhattan Center

Powerful and driving blues jam, with a unique ending. Garcia tears this one up, and Lesh provides a great hollow bass sound.

Off the rails, intense blues jamming.

Eyes Of The World

Orlando Arena

Relaxed, controlled, and tight. Garcia owns this one.

New Minglewood Blues

Avalon Ballroom

Insane early version. Weir goes off on the vocals, and there is some energetic old time Dead jamming.

Me and My Uncle

Fillmore East

This is my hands-down favorite M&MU. Garcia's hook into his solo pierces ice. Just love the fills provided by all. Perfect rendition of one of my favorite Dead cowboy songs.

Outstanding....Period
Bertha
Feb. 3, 1978
Dane County Coliseum

There is no Bertha played on this date. I think your confusing this with the 2/5/78 version on DP 18, which has already been posted.

Campus Stadium - University Of California

Charged, and absolutely ripping final jam. They push the limit of whats possible shredding wise in this song, and possibly escape the stratosphere of what they thought was possible in the first place. This is what 78' gives you, super high energy, super high intensity jamming.
