Easy Wind
March 21, 1970
Capitol Theater

Exceptional jamming with a great solo from Weir. Jerry and Bob feed off each other the whole time. Unfortunately, tape cut ends it abruptly.

Miracle>>Shakedown. Mind-blowing smooth transition. Energized version, but really this one sticks out for the transition.

Great version, from an unheralded show.

A shifted gear in the set sends this one up a notch, punchy and powerful emotive soloing.

Me and My Uncle

Do they come together or what! Garcia's solo is tight and smoking.

Hill Auditorium

Great one, very dark.
The Other One
Dec. 14, 1971
Hill Auditorium

Every song in this show was nailed. One of the best ever. Certainly top 5 for the fantastic year of 1971. Not to discount the awesome achievements in November, August, and April. This show here at the Hill Auditorium can hold up with the best of them. This Other One, by the way has Keith playing some mind-blowing stuff. Practically steals the spotlight from Garcia, and hey, thats no easy task. Very rare, and Keith really was the only member who ever consistently (before his decline in 78) had the potential to steal the spotlight from Garcia's eloquent phrasing.
Playin' In The Band

Fox Theatre

Im in agreement here, i'll give this a vote.
Playin' In The Band

Nassau Coliseum

Really overlooked performance, in fact very good. This Playin' never has a dull moment, superb playing. This is up with the best of them.
