Uncle John's Band
March 27, 1995
The Omni

Talk about a sleeper...along with the "PITB" before it, this is probably the last time the Grateful Dead really went the distance in terms of jamming.

Promised Land
July 18, 1989
Alpine Valley

Searing work from Brent in a typically strong 1989 version. Surprised this was represented from a legendary show.

Sugar Magnolia
July 10, 1989
Giants Stadium

Rockin' version from the summer of '89.

Space
July 10, 1989
Giants Stadium

Creepy crawly version with lots of different themes and moods just like all good Spaces.

Playin' In The Band
July 12, 1987
Giants Stadium

Not exceptionally long but still a very good version. Phil's great here.

Eyes Of The World
May 14, 1978
Providence Civic Center

This is an amazing "Eyes," deserves to be at least in the Top 20. Great length, tremendous jamming, whole band on point.
Wharf Rat
June 25, 1995
RFK Stadium

Unlike the sloppy and overhyped final "Dew" four days earlier in Albany, this is truly an all time, Top 5-10 rendition of "Wharf Rat." Not sure what happened between Giant Stadium and RFK, like two completely different people playing and singing the same song. Jerry's solo is excellent and his vocals are perfect for this song.
Hell in a Bucket
March 27, 1993
Knickerbocker Arena

Surprised this one wasn't up yet! Listened to this whole show today and this is a great "Bucket," Jerry flexes some serious muscle. This is the best show of 1993, which is actually a pretty good year.
Loose Lucy
March 27, 1993
Knickerbocker Arena

I'm not always a fan of this song, it feels too much like a throwaway, but this version is hot. Jerry's solo during the jam is blazing.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
Oct. 2, 1977
Paramount Theatre

The best "Scarlet -> Fire" of 1977. Yes, I said it. Exceptionally tight, and Keith is transcendent on keys.
