Jack Straw

Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum

Another great 1993 version to go with 6/11, 6/21, 8/22, 9/10. Jerry goes nutso.

Another song that roared back to life in 1991. Bobby always nails this one.

Feel Like A Stranger

From a great run of shows. Jerry kills the jam.

Man Smart, Woman Smarter
Dec. 31, 1987
Oakland Coliseum Arena

The "Aiko" is here but not the "Woman Are Smarter"? Blasphemy.

Ramble On Rose

Richfield Coliseum

A very spunky, sharp and well played version with Jerry on fire. He owns this whole first set.

Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
Sept. 11, 1982
West Palm Beach Auditorium

This is the most underrated of the underrated. From end to end, this one absolutely kills. I've yet to hear another one like it.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
May 26, 1995
Memorial Stadium

I finally got around to listening this one in full, with no distractions, on my lunch break. I really wrote off this one for awhile as overrated, but while there are some that should still be higher, this one more than holds its own. No, it doesn't have the same volcanic peak of 10/14, and the "Scarlet" alone is indeed kind of a throwaway, the end jam of "SB" into the totality of "Fire" is unmissable. Jerry tears it up with the MIDI and conjures truly unique, remarkably creative flavors for 1995. I'm glad I gave this one a second chance.
Estimated Prophet

Capital Centre

One of my favorite versions. Bobby's gutsy with the vocals and the jam is excellent.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
Aug. 6, 1989
Cal Expo

How did this one slip through the cracks? Extremely tight, endlessly creative, beautiful work from both Jerry and Brent. If 7/7/89 and 3/22/1990 have well over 100 votes, this one can easily hang with them.
Brown Eyed Women

Jerry's vocal on this one is of another world...his out of nowhere belt on 'when the WALLS caved in' is spine tinglingly soulful.
