Ramble On Rose
Aug. 6, 1989
Cal Expo

1989 was a banner year for this song. Brent is on fire and Jerry is, well, Jerry. Killer version.

The Wheel

Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum

The symbolism of playing this one at Keith & Donna's last show makes this one significant. Great version.

China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider

Capitol Center

Really strong version. Jerry's vocals are particularly sharp and playful here. Bobby and Brent deliver big here.

Jerry's solo is great on this. Really touching version.

Listened to this show today. I love this version...it's whimsical and full of energy.
Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues

Rosemont Horizon

The tempo is suuuuper sluggish here....but Jerry's solo is excellent.
Alabama Getaway

River Bend Music Center

Great guitar playing.
Jack Straw
June 18, 1983
Saratoga Performing Arts Center

That said, this version has to have the worst entry into the "Jack Straw from Wichita" finale ever. I'm not sure if Bob and / or Jerry forget the words, or if Bob, Brent, or Jerry fatally miscue the entrance, but it's a tragedy. At one point all three are singing different lyrics. Other than the rest of the song is aces.
