The Wheel
Dec. 27, 1990
Coliseum Arena
Love 1990-91 "The Wheel"'s. They played it at a tempo similar to the original studio version. More urgency and intensity to it.

Jack Straw
Dec. 27, 1990
Coliseum Arena
Barnburner, scorcher, etc. There isn't a bad Bruce-era "Jack Straw."

Sugaree
Dec. 27, 1990
Coliseum Arena
A very strong version. Bruce and Jerry seemed to always play off each other well on "Sugaree."

New Minglewood Blues
March 16, 1994
Rosemont Horizon
Killer version from a Top 5 show from 1994. Vince and Jerry are on and Bob means every word.

Shakedown Street

The Pyramid
Off the charts good. Especially from 1995. Those Memphis shows were exellent.
Foolish Heart
June 22, 1991
Soldier Field
A rich, chugging "Foolish Heart." I've been loving on this song lately, and this is one of the best. Great swell in the middle and Jerry's pushes the outro to new heights.
Playin' In The Band
March 27, 1985
Nassau Coliseum
The ending is like getting sucked into a black hole, with Brent adding some weird keyboard noises that make me think of a lost ship scrambling to make contact with Earth. Really one of the most complete, atmospheric jams on this song I've ever heard.
Fire On The Mountain
Oct. 31, 1980
Radio City Music Hall
This is the best stand-alone "Fire," easily. Jerry's guitar is like a laser cutting through glass. Sharp, precise, slicing.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
Oct. 19, 1981
Sports Palace
Absolutely stunning "Fire" here...around 6:00 all hell breaks loose.
