These shows in Ohio and at the Spectrum in Philly get overlooked because of Bruce joining them at Madison Square Garden. Big mistake. This show is especially excellent. The pre-Drums in Set 2 gets all the attention but they attack the first set as well. With Vince still learning the ropes and holding back a bit, Jerry, Bobby and Phil were all extra focused.

RE: cgarces' comment about this being a 'greatest hits' show, had they cut the cowboy tunes, "FTHOM," and the covers aside from "NFA" and "GL" and found room for any combo of "Dew," "Playin'," "China -> Rider," "Sugaree," "Estimated," "Jack Straw," "Truckin'," "Bird Song," "Ripple," "He's Gone," or "Shakedown," yes, it would be the most insanely perfect Dead show of all time.

I forgot how much I love Jerry's tone on this one; just so sharp and articulate.

Unless I'm missing something from early 1979, Keith's solo here is his last great moment of complete lucidity as he was well into his decline by this point.
I Need A Miracle

Without question, the best one.
