Ramble On Rose
Aug. 6, 1989
Cal Expo
1989 was a banner year for this song. Brent is on fire and Jerry is, well, Jerry. Killer version.

The Wheel
Feb. 17, 1979
Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum
The symbolism of playing this one at Keith & Donna's last show makes this one significant. Great version.

China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
Nov. 8, 1979
Capitol Center
Really strong version. Jerry's vocals are particularly sharp and playful here. Bobby and Brent deliver big here.

He's Gone
Sept. 14, 1991
Madison Square Garden
This is my favorite version of "He's Gone." There's just something so haunting about it. A year after he passed, this is the one where I feel Brent's spectre lurking the most. It has a real heaviness to it. Great singing from Jerry, great solo as well, and Bruce adds his touch as well.
Stella Blue
May 26, 1995
Memorial Stadium
Every 1994-95 "Stella" has an incredible emotional weight to it.
Dire Wolf
Oct. 3, 1994
Boston Garden
Great late day version. Very spry.
All Along the Watchtower
March 27, 1993
Knickerbocker Arena
Amazing version. Great show.
Wharf Rat
June 16, 1985
Greek Theater
(cont'd) His harmonies are gorgeous, and his organ work really adds an additional foreboding atmosphere to an already dark song.
