Bruce makes this version. Great interplay between him and Jerry and a chargin', tight version overall. Amazing show.

Galloping, tight version. Good interplay from everyone involved. One of thew few tunes Keith really came alive during his last two years with the band

This version is fantastic.
Bird Song

Should have at least 10-15 more votes. Absolutely soaring version.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
March 21, 1991
Capital Centre

"Scarlet" is solid enough, but they completely tear up "Fire." The interplay between Jerry and Bruce is fantastic, and Jerry's vocals on the finale are insane. And of course, the icing on the cake: a smooth as silk transition into the gorgeous "Stir It Up" jam. I need to give another listen to 9/4 to see which one I now consider the best Hornsby era version.

Barton Hall - Cornell University

The one song from Ithaca that is unquestionably deserving of the top spot for me.
Eyes Of The World

Giants Stadium

I love the tempo on this one; it strikes a happy medium between the faster, pre-3/25/90 versions and the slower versions that were the norm going forward. Steady, with no sluggishness at all, but not rushed, either. A perfectly measured performance.
