Intriguing Set 2 opener "Scarlet -> Sugar." Nice MIDI at the end.

This one shines from my favorite Hornsby show.

Man was 1990 a good year for this song. Terrific version, great solo, nice ragtime-y work from Bruce. Just exactly perfect.

Listened to this show because it was played the day I was born. A great Hornsby era version.

I actually thought this was an excellent "Eyes." Not as long as previous versions but very tight with Jerry and Phil especially on the money. There are very few versions of the song I go to post-Hornsby, but this is one of them.

I actually think the set is pretty solid if you forgive "Easy Answers." That could just be me having liberal standards, though.

This version starts on the moon and winds up in hell. Can't get enough of it.

You know, the beginning of this song sounds like Peter Gabriel's "Solsbury Hill" a little bit, and you think it's gonna be somewhat interesting, than it morphs into the Love Boat theme.

Agreed with your points about 3/27/94 (which, by the way, is an all around really good show - "Deal" and "O1" are also fantastic, as is the 13 minute "Aiko Aiko). That one is Top 5 EVER, and I agree that it is on par with 1977 ones. These South Carolina shows are actually excellent.
