Very crisp, smooth version. Crack open a cold one and tap your toes to this one.

Love this one. Spunky Jerry with a quirky, inventive solo and nice playing from Bruce as well.

As this show's biggest fan, I'm aghast I didn't post this lovely version. Jerry at his most charming. Bruce is in damn good form as well.

Any one where Brent sings the second verse is better than one where he doesn't.
Morning Dew

You need to get the recently released ultra-matrix of this fantastic show. The crowd reaction to this "Dew" is insane, and the band delivers tenfold. One of the best of the late 1980s'.

This is it for this song; Jerry sings this song with the raunchy verve this song needs, whereas his vocals in the current top 2 are both sort of disengaged. Also, he torches the solos. I've yet to hear a better version.

Almost hits the peak he hits in Boston 10/1...almost...

You guys, this is the best one. This is the one Jerry was building towards throughout 1994 with the extended vocal outro; all the pent up emotions he was gradually letting out in Richmond, Auburn Hills, etc. come to a head here. It's maybe the most heartbreaking moment in live Dead history, even moreso than the last "Black Muddy River." 10/21/1978 may have a solo that can't be beat, but for the full emotional experience of this song, I can't find another that moves me as much.
