Synth alien space into Stella Blue. Really cool effects from Bobby and Brent. Listen to this show.

Impressive soloing and unique guitar tones from Jerry and Bobby. Pure lysergic goodness. 1966 headiness.

Vince plays synth organ instead of those terrible horns. Similar to killer versions played by Bob later in Ratdog (when this song really got good).

Tight playing, excellent vocals, polished performance. Summer of '73 in Portland—who could ask for more?

Epic Shakedown. Starts with lyric flubs by Brent and Bob, but rages onward to headiness.

I can't believe this performance hasn't gotten more notice here. This is the definitive stand-alone version. Trippy Donna wails and extraordinary jamming between all members of the band. 11+ minutes. Bobby and Jerry really feel their way through this.

Yeah, I have to say, Jerry kicking on a fuzz box for the solo makes this version unique, but 7/19 is not nearly as remarkable as the DP 31 performances or a few of the stand-alone versions from '76/early '77. Can you really say this is better than 8/5/74??

Mickey and Billy led the jam on this performance. Lots of great drumming behind the spacey guitars/keys/bass.

Wow, not many people noticing this version. It's the most original one post-songwriting.

This version is really a lot different from the standard '77 version. Unique Jerry solo and upbeat feel.
