High & lonesome, lithe & lean, and not too slow. Drums mixed way up in sbd and Billy's syncopated pulse carries the song.

Despite all the sound problems and a cut chorus, this just swings. Billy's nicely upfront in the sbd, everything gels. Melodic, heartfelt.

Relentlessly swinging version a la Summer '74. Keith is ON IT, strong vocals all around, groovy syncopated jam in the middle, great vibe from crowd. Lack of sbd for 2nd set not a big deal.... the "Mouth of the Beast" aud (Barry Glassberg et. al.) is superb, up there with Rob Bertrando's of 2/27, almost like a sbd/aud matrix.
