Fucking kidding me! Jerr is melting faces here just to warm up!

Pocket-groovin’ version, (as opposed to stratospheric). Stunned I’m posting this one…

Eyes Of The World
May 22, 1977
The Sportatorium
2/26/77 is my fav ‘77 show, but I have a hard time squaring that with this one. Just astounding from start-to-finish, song-to-song. And no different here; what an version! Jerr is on another planet: focused, yet improvisationally brilliant. The stamina!!!
Help On The Way > Slipknot > Franklin's Tower

The Sportatorium
Dis da one! I love me some 9/24/76, but this one can’t be beat! (And just so happens to be joined by several all-time versions, including a top-5 Eyes).

You’ve gotta love this…!
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
April 20, 1984
Philadelphia Civic Center
Best Scarlet of ‘84 for the 2nd totally outrageous Jerr solo alone, but the 4/13 Fire can’t be beat, even with Jerr going HAM this entire show + the super-smooth transition jam. I mean, it’s a week later, they were rolling…
Estimated Prophet
April 13, 1984
Hampton Coliseum
Yeah! After that all-time + epic S>F, they keep it rolling and we get a great Estimated!
