A Keith stunner! Laying it down on this swingin’ version to nearly close the show. Yowza!

All-time version. If we had better tape - and thank the sweet nothing that we have this one - this one would be far higher. (As you should be when you listen). You can barely hear Phil, but he is going *off* with Jerr, as he did beautifully at this high point in this song’s life. Yowza. Not 4/24 or 1/31, but, man, this is good stuff.

‘78 is the apotheosis of the band, for me, but this is still my fav show ever. And this Wheel is every bit part of the magic of this special night. Jerr eventually steers them in this direction…and BOOM…!!!

Passable. The coca ain’t working this night, and things are constantly threatening to go off the rails. Sometimes that’s good, but not tonight. GREAT year, fall tour is more on point. And if this is your idea of a dope S>F, ya haven’t listened to enough of the ~242 versions played.

Jerr almost too high to sing, but he gets it together, after a rough 2/3 of the 1st set. Threatening to go off the rails for much of the first set, they regroup for this set closer.

Man, I love this year + this show starts out great + I almost never talk shit, but the first set goes downhill after TLEO, oddly. This is okay, but they too high, unfortunately. It just ain’t workin’ for a lot of the set, IMHO.
