Super dope. Still working it out, of course, but still hits the peaks.

Very strange “noodling” comment, as they’re very clearly simply trying to find their way into this newer version of the song, after working it out for a short period of time in ‘76. And there are legitimate times to accuse individuals of noodling - mostly Jerry - but this is not one of them. And the vocal flub is band-wide - again, they are working their way through learning + playing the song after a long layoff. You could use a wider breadth of listening. Not an all-timer, by any means, but you’re also taking it out of context.

5th of 6 straight to start the year. Excited to show it to the people, especially Jerr who is feeling his way into delivering some monsters over the next 12 months…! And Keith is giving you pre-Brent vibes. Amazing stuff.

Man, I rarely, if ever, make negative comments, but, to me, this is an odd lowlight of an all-time show. The Bobby + Donna (I love Donna, for the record) duet: does. not. work. Jerry saves it a bit, cuz he’s going off all show, but this is a clunky version.

Another Jerry gem from this beautifully flowing show…
