It’s an impossible task with this, the greatest song + combo ever written, in my incredibly Neolithic estimation. 4/23/77 + 5/13/77 + 4/20/84 are tremendous. I was recently reviewing Dick’s favs, and it’s remarkable how much we disagree, but that’s the beauty, ain’t it…?

Comparing S>F’s makes no sense, as there are different species, and this one belongs to the all-too-rare super-groovin’ + waaay laid back phylum. Echoes of 1/31/78, which is the highest of compliments. Dreamy + kicked back + killer, all at once. A unique + historical version, which is extremely underrated. All-time.
