Uncle John's Band
Sept. 15, 1990
Madison Square Garden

Fiery, galloping build up. Maybe this was overshadowed by the 9/19 version, but this one rips.

Stella Blue
Sept. 15, 1990
Madison Square Garden

Jerry flubs the cheap hotel, but it's OK. His guitar makes up for it. Check out last couple minutes. Builds beautifully. Just a notch below 9/19.

All Along the Watchtower

Scorching. Just flipping through the 1990 Garden run. Surprised this ain't here already. Bruce's 1st official night as a member of the band.

Cassell Coliseum - Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University

Donna’s harmonies seem to me to be just about right. Kind of a unique Dupree! Great show!!!
Black Peter
April 10, 1978
Fox Theatre

Out of a gonzo Franklin’s….. Jerry shreds like mad in the frenetic coda!! BTW…. that Franklins (which crawls out of a very long drumz….) is a beautiful mess….another night where they become the world’s greatest garage band!!! And that’s a great thing!

Eyes Of The World
April 12, 1978
Cameron Indoor Stadium

Yep! Definitely deserves to be top 25 and….. wait a second!!! It ain’t even close to top 60?!? I guess it goes to show, these guys are pretty good, and there a lot of tremendously powerful Eyes out there…. Still….. this has wonderful interplay between Jerry and the gang, Bobby really awesome, Rhythm Devils right on, Phil and Keith doing their amazing thing as we roll from an excellent Estimated through a vibrant Eyes into one of the first ever official Drums/Space and….. !! A bit like some of the more fiery Eyes from the autumn of 77……
