I love what Phil does on this one. This thing is short and sweet.

Glad you liked it, man.
Fire On The Mountain

Grand Prix Racecourse

Had always been looking for a place to vote on this one here. Originally, I had voted for the 'Wharf Rat' which follows. The FOTM theme comes in several minutes before the end of a big, EPIC 18+ minute jam. Excellent stuff!!!
Wharf Rat

Providence Civic Center

Carrion_Crow: Check out 7/21/74's take. It's part of a big Playin'>Wharf>Truckin'>NFBM (theme only)>Playin' reprise sandwich. At the very least, it is somewhat of a unique rendering. 7/21/74 is not very well-known--probably due to the fact that there is no known SBD of it in circulation (and it's not in the vault, either). But check out Bertrando's AUD; which, as I've written before in these pages, is very good or better.
Eyes Of The World

Parc des Expositions

The baton is handed to Phil on the intro and he chooses to gently melt his bass over and between the chords. Jerry's first lead is good and his second lead is even better. On his second lead he is just barely able to maintain control, giving the listener the impression of being on a rollercoaster or in a car with Jerry as he screams around twisty portions of Route 1. While this is a fine version that warrants repeated listenings, it is still not the 'headiest' version from the Europe '74 tour, as that honor goes to 9/11/74.
Cold Rain and Snow

Excellent version. I love how they stretch the time on this one. This one gives you what you love in a good 'Rain and Snow' and also throws in some surprises.
