Looks Like Rain
Aug. 4, 1976
Roosevelt Stadium
Pretty but Powerful. Donna sounds great this whole Summer but the boys bring the punch here, too, especially toward the end.

Stella Blue

Shoreline Amphitheatre
Passionately delivered, especially the outro.
Standing On The Moon
Dec. 6, 1989
Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum
Jer and the Big Man feeding off each other nicely during the outro.
Stella Blue
March 30, 1989
Greensboro Coliseum
I'm partial to the 70s Stellas but even with his overly distorted guitar tone Jerry delivers a gorgeous solo here, and his vocals are very nice. Peters out a bit during the outro instead of building again like some of the best Stellas do, but overall a nice example from a period of growing prowess for the band.
He's Gone
Oct. 14, 1988
Miami Arena
Bit of a shaky show overall, with a big flub on the bridge of Brown Eyed Women and some vocal miscues for Jer, in what's otherwise a period of building power for the band. But this one peaks nicely at the outrro jam with some soaring harmony vocals, Garcia and Weir wailing to the heavens with Brent steadily backing them up, and a Birdsong-esque D-to-E jam tease near the end.
Big River
Aug. 4, 1974
Philadelphia Civic Center
Hard to believe this one hasn't been added yet. Whole band cooking but Godchaux and Garcia particularly hot and in sync toward the end.
