The latter half of a great on-two punch to kick off the show (1/2 step preceding), this Cassidy is an absolute bute. Bob/Jer communication is tight

Jerry rips a sick intro solo. Hyped up energy

The 'butt sweat' meter is off the charts for this. Great Brent work and killer peak

Funky stuff. Jerry makes some excellent licks and Brent has fine supporting contributions. Heady, for sure

Cracking solid from everyone, with Hornsby laying some thickness

Jerry’s ethereal, tinkling tone on this solo is definitive catharsis.

First off, my god, people are still commenting daily on Veneta, Englishtown, and May ‘77 like we didn’t get a prized new professional release just days ago. This show is lauded, for innumerable reasons, not least of which is this bonkers UJB with not just a fully realized DS Jam, but not one, but two TOO tease. Leads into a mouth of hell sounding drums sequence, then a Space, which of the era, sounds like the best musicians on the planet playing fart sounds on their instruments. Otherwise (than Space), this show and version are the best of the late era, and so happy they are on polished release. The whole box is so worthwhile and glad this show got the nod for vinyl release. Spread into IT

To echo sentiments above, this is everything you want in a late-peak ear dew. The emotiveness, the cathartic swell and fury, this one is fantastic
