I actually dig Hornsby's flare on this. Jerry nails a sweet solo at the end too. Very heartfelt

Full head of steam. Good Phil work on a song that is typically a Jerry shredfest highlight reel (this is still a Jerry shredfest highlight reel)

Short and sweet. Jerry rips a tight solo in the middle

This is a true highlight of the new DP release. Band clicks during this Frank and the following jam has wonderful interplay between Jerry and Brent.

I have a bit of a different take on this. I was super excited for the new DP release, as I personally love '79, especially Nov-Dec. I found this version really sluggish and lacking spark. The Scarlett was approached with near reluctance and Bobby's slide offers little to the supportive structure. The Fire picks up, but has devastating audio cuts that take you out of the momentum the band was gaining. I'll obviously spin again, many times, but was relatively underwhelmed following Lemieux talking this up so hard in the seaside chat.

Jerry and Brent get lock step early in this magnificent version. Peppy rendition for the first time in the mothership

RIP Brent. His final lyrics are tear jerking in context

Brent playing like he’s possessed. His link up with Jerry is positively electric. Crusher of a version
